Production Coil vs Coil through a Corona Detection Camera

The above shows a coil in the manufacturing process, versus through a corona detection camera.

In the top image, we see a production coil for reference, with the subsequent image showcasing our testing phase where a coil is undergoing thorough observation during a voltage endurance test (VET), a testament to our commitment to continuous improvement.

In this example, a notable feature is the corona discharge at the end of the stress grading area on the end windings, captured by our corona detection camera (bottom image).

*This phenomenon is due to the applied test voltage being 3 times the rated voltage, with the rating of these coils being at 13.8kV, underscoring our dedication to surpassing industry standards.*

The second image is labelled with identifying features to allow our audience to identify the relevant areas of the coil in question. This demonstrates to our valued partners our obsession with quality across the whole process of manufacturing high-voltage diamond coils tailored to multiple industries.

Partnerships are evidently at the heart of everything we do…
