Preformed Windings Unit J Grand Opening – 6th December 2024.
On Friday, 6th December, we proudly welcomed over 70 guests to the grand opening of our new manufacturing facility in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
Among our attendees were government representatives, industry associations, customers, suppliers, and valued partners who have supported our journey over the years.
The celebrations began the evening before with a dinner at a nearby hotel, where guests had the opportunity to network and connect with our team and other attendees ahead of the event. The following morning, a delicious brunch and presentation from CEO James Stevens set the tone for an exciting day ahead.
The event highlights included guided tours of both our existing and new facility, and distributing exclusive Preformed Windings keepsakes, while food and drinks were available throughout the day to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
The official opening then followed with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, led by Jake Richards, MP for Rother Valley, who graciously joined us to mark this big milestone in our company’s growth.
We want to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us. This new facility represents the hard work and dedication of our entire team at Preformed Windings. Operating across two buildings now, we have an increased manufacturing capacity, further ensuring we meet the growing demand of our high-quality, high-voltage diamond coils.
