Quality That Protects Your Investment

Every bar and coil we manufacture is an investment in the long-term reliability of your infrastructure. Our rigorous quality and testing programme ensures that investment delivers decades of dependable service.

Obsessed with Quality

Manufactured for Reliability

For your generator or motor, the quality of every bar and coil directly determines how long the machine will run before the next outage. Over 50 years of continuous improvement in materials, processes, and testing has made us the partner that leading energy companies trust to protect their most critical rotating assets.

ISO 9001:2015 certified with ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 management systems. We manufacture to BS EN 50209:1999, ESI 44-5, and customer-specific standards — with the international experience to meet regional requirements wherever your assets operate.

How Our Quality Protects Your Infrastructure

  • Typical tests: Tan Delta, Voltage Breakdown Test up to 70kV, interstrand and interturn tests, surface resistance — plus Voltage Endurance testing (IEEE Std 1043-1996 and IEEE Std 1553-2002) and Thermal Cycle testing (IEEE Std 1310-2012)
  • Oxygen-free copper improves long-term reliability and dielectric performance
  • Industry-leading partial discharge <300pC @13.8kV
  • The first 'Class H' resin-rich coil specification in the world
  • 3D-printed tooling and forming blocks for dimensional and geometrical precision
  • Design Drawings on every job: As-Built drawings provide updated dimensions, slot-fill copper and insulation materials
  • Traceability: live tracking of production — operators, materials, quality data — at the click of a button, for quality control and quality assurance
  • Rigid international shipping and packing procedures protecting the windings during transit
  • Tight geometrical tolerances and customised winding kits for ease of installation
  • End-to-end project support

Our confidence in every coil we produce is your protection. Industry-leading test results backed by a warranty that puts your long-term reliability first.

Testing Programme

Testing That Gives You Confidence in Long-Term Performance

Our obsession with quality means every bar and coil undergoes a rigorous battery of tests before it leaves our facility — no exceptions. These tests verify that your bars and coils will deliver the reliable, long-term service your infrastructure demands.

High-Voltage (Hi-Pot) Test

AC and DC withstand tests verify ground wall insulation integrity at voltages well above normal operating levels.

Surge Comparison Test

Detects turn-to-turn insulation weaknesses by comparing reflected surge waveforms between coil phases.

Tan Delta (Dissipation Factor)

We offer the industry's lowest tan delta levels, measuring insulation loss characteristics under voltage stress.

Partial Discharge (PD)

Industry-leading lowest partial discharge levels. Detects localised electrical discharges within the insulation system.

Dimensional Inspection

3D coordinate measuring machines verify that every bar and coil meets exact slot, overhang, and connection dimensions.

Insulation Resistance

Megger testing measures insulation resistance to ground at standard and elevated temperatures for long-term reliability.

Voltage Endurance

Long-duration voltage-stress testing to IEEE Std 1043-1996 and IEEE Std 1553-2002, verifying ground-wall insulation life under sustained electrical stress.

Thermal Cycling

Repeated heating and cooling cycles to IEEE Std 1310-2012, proving the insulation system withstands thermal expansion and contraction stresses over the machine's service life.

Standards & Memberships

Compliance and Accountability You Can Verify

Our certifications and industry memberships ensure accountability and give you confidence that every bar and coil meets the standards your applications demand.
